This is a magnificent cup made of ferrous enamel in a deep amber color. This ceramic piece is fired in a wood-fired kiln using traditional methods. The flow of the flame and temperature variations produce subtle nuances in the artwork.

The name "Tadanoumi-yu" comes from the Takehara region in Hiroshima Prefecture, where the wood-fired kiln used to bake this piece is located.
